Inc’d!

February 25th, 2009

Last Friday we received our articles of Incorporation from the State of California.  We are now officially Aunt Erma’s, Inc.  Tai Zhou Forrest has completed our prototype and it’s on its way back from China to Burbank!

Tai Zhou in Shanghai – (I assume this pic is legit- haven’t been so you never know!)

Trucked downtown 4 times to get the articles approved.  State Office is beautifulk inside….

Inspired by Funky Brick Bakery on Twitter, they are also running a blog lead up to their bakery business.  Might turn of the password protection and let anyone see Aunt Erma’s developemnt countdown blog….

And the latest

4 attempts to get our company incorporated.  (I can now get to the State building in downtown LA with my eyes closed).  So the offcial articles of Incorporation haven’t come through yet, but the papers haven’t been kicked back – so I think we’re going to be golden.  Meanwhile, The Jewish Free Loan Association rejected us because the business is not our sole source of income.  (A strange rule since they max their loan out at $15,000, don’t know who could manage in this town with that as their sole source of income.  All for now.  Oh, and TaiZhou Printing outisde of Shanghai China is working on our prototype.  So the slow crawl continues!
